Trukai Industries has been a strong supporter of sport in Papua New Guinea. Following the Lae Trukai fun run auction, where an impressive K322,000 was raised, another K258,000 was raised in the Port Moresby auction.
The private business community, government sector and partners attended the annual Trukai fun run auction yesterday evening at the Royal Papua Yacht Club.
This year, will see the trukai fun run included as one of the events at the 2015 Port Moresby Pacific Games.
The fun run shirts will act as a souvenir for the July games and also comes with a commemorative medal to signify the event being a part of the pacific games.
Trukai industries has donated 100,000 shirts to the Papua New Guinea Olympic Committee for the fun run this year, to give people the opportunity to be a part of the event.
The evening ended with the highest number of shirts purchased by the Institute of Business Studies.
