Employees of Teachers Savings & Loan Society today joined their counterparts from across the globe in celebrating International Credit Union Day.
With 2018 marking the 70th Anniversary of Credit Unions, the theme for this year’s ICU Day is “Find your platinum lining in Credit Unions”
Over 200 employees of Teachers Savings & Loans Society today celebrated International Credit Union Day.
Held on the Third Thursday of October each year, this day celebrates the essence of Credit Unions, in providing more efficient support for contributors.
In PNG, TISA is the largest, and most well-known credit union, serving over sixty-thousand members – Each member, an important shareholder.
In recent years, TISA has extended their network, with the organisation now in Sixteen branches throughout the country – serving teacehrs in all four regions.
A major part of TISA’s recent development has been on the back of digital innovation, with the organisation recently launching its own debit card – the Yumi Card.
With the responsibility of serving the more than sixty thousand members throughout the country, the organisation has also put an emphasis on utilising the best talent from across all sectors.
Today’s celebrations culminating with awards to the Best Decorated Divisions, and Best Dressed employees.
