PNG’s reigning Taekwondo club champions;the Kassmans, will host this year’s National Camp, atthe Don Besco TechnicalInstitute in Port Moresby commencing next week.
The camp will prepare athletes for the selection trials, in preparation for the mini Pacific Games in Wallis and Futuna come September.
These boys arethe A team orthe national Taekwondo team fromthe Kassman’s Taekwondo Club in Port Moresby.
As host ofthe National taekwondo Camp this year,they are looking forward to challenge talents from ther centers who will also be participating.
A total of 40 identiflied athletes from acrossthe country were selected last year atthPNG Games and will be part ofthe camp.
The camp will checktheir fitness levels and up skilledthem in preparation for the selection trials from whichthey’ll select a train on squad for the mini Pacific Games in Wallis and Futuna in September.
Kassman Taekwondo Club has played an important role in developingthe sport inthe country and thus invit’s all taekwondo factions and clubs aroundthe country to be part ofthe National Camp.
