There will be a new road that will connect two provinces, West Sepik province and Western province, starting next year will be built.

Prime Minister Peter O’Neill on Monday this week officiated at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Tabubil-Telefomin and Oksapmin road projects.

Mr. O’Neill says the National Government’s focus is on infrastructure development. As Papua New Guinea’s focus on improving infrastructure takes precedence, building and linking more roads is becoming vital for the free flow of goods and services.

Mr O’Neill said the National Government is focused on building positive change and creating opportunities for Papua New Guineans, in the formal and informal sector

The National Government’s responsibility is to ensure citizens benefit from necessary basic services.
