The tribunal yesterday afternoon penalized former Angoram MP Arthur Somare a mere one-thousand five-hundred kina for late submissions of 3 accounts dating back to 1999.
This ends the 8 year case on misapplication of public funds which now clears him from all the hassles and public scrutiny.
The case was cleared this Tuesday due to lack of evidence; Mr. Somare says the Ombudsman Commission has played foul causing him his reputation, that of his family and his Angoram seat.
Bernadette Efi talks more about this with Mr. Somare in this exclusive interview.
