The Shotgun World Cup currently being staged in Nicosia, Cyprus provides a final opportunity for members of team PNG to qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
A total of 373 athletes from 61 countries are competing over fine days of competition.
Three PNG shooters are competing: Darcy Leahy, Angus Donald and Danny Wanma .The three shot their best in the double trap event, with Leahy hitting 105 out of 150, and Donald and Wanma both scoring 87 amidst a very tough competition and in very cold weather.
The Shotgun World Cup in Cyprus is the last opportunity for team PNG to get a minimum qualifying score for the Olympics.
All 61 countries with competitors are on the hunt for places at the 2016 Rio Olympics with proceedings concluding on 24 March.
