Director of PNG Women in Business, Janet Sape, is in India for a ten-day visit under the Indian Government’s Distinguished Visitors Program.
The program sees two distinguished citizens from each of the 14 Pacific Islands go on a tour of India, to show off what the country has, and see what India was like 20 years ago.
This week, Mrs Sape and the team from the Pacific, met with India’s Ministry of External Affairs.
They also met with the government and private sector business communities and discussed matters of mutual interest.
The team also travelled to the Indian province of Agra, where they toured the world famous Taj Mahal. Mrs Sape also had the chance to meet PNG’s High Commissioner to India, Tarcissius Eri.
