Salvation Sport Carnival

The Salvation Army Youth and Children’s Carnival was hailed a success by organizers with up to five hundred children participating.

The aim ofthe Carnival was to encourage more children and youth to build a life in Church.

Teams came dressed for the day from Beroko, Hohola andthe Knights as well.

The Salvation Army Sport Carnival has been hosted once more after a long while and covers eleven churches with a vision for all youths to prosper in church through sports.

Sport contested included volleyball for boththe women’s and men’s division; touch footy which was a crowd pleaser, and for the younger children – Captain Bell got everyone in frenzy.

The Sport Carnival not only encourages sports but for youth to have a positive mindset.

The Salvation Army aims on building good young citizens through sports.
