1. Peter Graham, MD of Esso Highlands: We discuss the production phase of the PNG LNG project this year. With the construction phase over, and a portion of the workforce reduced, we hear how Esso Highlands has assisted demobilized employees. And we discuss how the commissioning of gas in the Kutubu fields is coming along.
2. Peter Botten, MD of Oil Search : We discuss the different tax credit schemes that have been undertaken by Oil Search. Oil Search has also involved in a 35MW biomass power generation plant in the Morobe province, a first in PNG – Peter Botten explains this project. Steve Knowles, Project Director, PIMI: The PNG Industry Malaria Initiative (PIMI) is a new, highly innovative PNG industry sector initiative that enlists the country’s major resource sector companies to accelerate implementation of the National Malaria Control Strategy with the further specific goal of achieving PNG malaria elimination by 2050.
