Opening matches ofthe FORU Cup saw Tahiti get a bashing from Cook Islands 31 points to 5 atthe Lloyd Robson Oval.
It was kick off day for the long awaited Federation of Oceania Rugby Union Cup and supporter tooktheir seats to withness whatthe Pukpuks could do for the home crowd.
Teams tookthe field inthe first match between Tahiti and Cook Islands.

The Cook Islands led right throughoutthe match and didn’trsquo;t seem like backing down leavingthe Tahitians scoreless at half time eventually wrapping upthe match 31 points to 5.
The Hunters went out with all guns blazing and weren’t moverd bythe home crowd advantage insteadthey pushedthe Pukpuks tothe edge.
It wasthe opening match andthe Pukpuks needed to setthe pace right fromthe start.
Hunters came back after a deficit at half time and changedtheir game play to narrowthe gap 29 points to 22 at full time.
