People should be the focus in decision making for the country to develop, this was the message echoed by senior citizens of Morobe, Sir Boiyamo Sali, and Sir Nagora Bogan, during the opening of the PNG National Party Office in Lae recently.
Hundreds packed the Eriku oval to witness the dawn of the PNG National Party in Morobe. For Morobe leaders who were present, their cry was for leaders to speak for the small people in decision making.
Many say leaders have distanced themselves from their obligations to serve the people.
Senior statesman, Sir Nagora Bogan, expressed the need to serve with a purpose as elected members of parliament.
Both senior Morobe leaders are throwing their support behind the PNG National Party.
So far, the PNG National Party has opened seven of its offices around the country. Offices soon to be opened include Madang and Manus.
The office was officially opened by PNG National Party Leader and Sinasina Yongomugl MP, Kerenga Kua.
