Airline company, PNG Air, has announced the appointment of William Lamur as a Director on the company’s Board.
Mr. Lamur’s appointment is effective as of June 19th, with Mr. Lamur also appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors.
In an announcement to the markets, PNG Air said Mr. Lamur has a wealth of board experience, as well as enormous experience at CEO level across various industries.
Mr Lamur also brings integrity, business acumen and has well developed skills in high level strategic and corporate planning, business development, marketing and corporate governance.
Prior to this appointment, Mr. Lamur was the Group Managing Director and CEO of ENB Development Corporation Group of Companies (the business arm of the East New Britain Provincial Government), a post he held since 2013.
Mr. Lamur is a member of the PNG Institute of Directors and of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and holds a Bachelor of Technology in Business Studies from the PNG University of Technology.
