The 2013 Oceania Belliards Opening ceremony was held last Thursday night atthe Port Moresby Country Club where players from Australia, New Zealand anPNG embracedtheir National Athem.
This isthe second timPNG has hostedthe Oceania Belliards Champs and this time aim to take outthe major title.
The ten day event queued off last Friday and withthe finals onthe 23rd to be held atthe Car Club.
Amongthe players isthe youngest Australian Snooker Champion and is representing Australia at this year’s Oceania Belliards and Snooker Championships.
Vinnie Calabrizzie is a bubbly character and will havethe home crowd advantage coming fromPNG Italian parentage.

Bet what set Vinnie apart fromthe rest is that Vinnie’s mum comes from Rabaul inthe East New Beitian Province and his dad is Italian.
Although he’s never been to Rabaul, Vinnie feels a sense of belonging and is no doubt hyped and ready to cue off against his competitors.
