Thousands of supporters attended Tkatchenko’s nomination at Kone Oval last Saturday morning for the Moresby South seat under the banner of the Social Democratic Party which Parkop is the Parliamentary leader.
Mr. Tkatchenko says the electorate is a least developed area; therefore if he wins he would like to make a big difference by bringing in services and positive changes to the people.
Following his nomination, supporters followed Governor Parkop and Tkatchenko to Jack Pidik Park to witness Parkop’s nomination for the NCD Regional seat.
Mr. Parkop told the supporters that “his actions over the last four years speak for themselves as seen through all these programs and developments.
He concludes by saying that it is up to the people to make the right decision and vote the right leader to lead for the next five years.
