No Supplementary Budget for 2013

Treasurer Don Polye confirmed in parliament thatthere will not be any supplementary budget this financial year.

It was explained tothe house that a supplementary money plan is needed whenthe country experiences a surplus or a downturn in prices of commodities resulting in low revenue.

Nether exists though Treasurer Polye admitted a fall inthe prices of commodities.

The government is watching world trends closely and will adjust accordingly.

Mr Polye was responding to questions raised by Goroka MP, Bere Kimisopa.
