Poor road conditions and no proper drinking water in Kaugere andthe Korobosea 3 areas in Port Moresby will be a thing ofthe past.
Kaugere is situated inthe Moresby South Electorate ofthe nation’s capital. The area provides a haven for many people who are not able to afford accommodation in Port Moresby’s suburbs.
Life is simple in this part ofthe city, however basic services like proper water supply and roads need attention fromthe government.
Member for Moresby South, Justin Tkatchenko, visitedthe area yesterday for the ground breaking ceremony ofthe roads linkingthe community. The community openly voicedtheir concern notingthe current issues need to be looked at.
Mr Tkatchenko was well aware ofthe basic services needed in his electorate.
He said all roads inthe area will be upgraded with proper drainage system. Water supply will also be provided.
Mr. Tkatchenko is optimistic to give a new facelift tothe community and turn it into a suburb. He will carry outthe same projects inthe ther areas of his electorate.
