The Acting Secretary for Education, Dr. Michael Tapo, has announced thatthe 2013 Grade 10, 12 and 8 Examinations acrossthe nation will be conducted in October, 2013.
The Grade 10 Examination will be held for nine days, starting on Tuesday 1st – Friday 4th and Monday 7th – Friday 11th.
Forthe Grade 12 Examination, will be held for two weeks – fromthe 14th – 18th, and from 21st – 25th October.
A total of hundred and seventy thousand students’throughouPNG are expected to sit for the three national examinations.
Meanwhile Dr Tapo has urged allthe Provincial Education Advisers, Provincial Examination Supervisors, School Principals and Head Teachersto be more vigilant and security conscious ofthe confidentiality ofthe examination papers to avoid any form of cheating that may compromisethe examination results.
