The unveiling of the New Jersey for the HSBC Sevens Series yesterday by President Steven Kami, was to make Team PNG stand out during the tournament.
He said the colors of the jerseys were chosen to depict the colors of the bird of paradise, as they make their entrance in New Zealand, Australia and Hong Kong. Marked on the Jerseys was the logo of MRDC as the team’s major sponsor.
The leg of HSBC seven series will start in Wellington, then Sydney and Hong Kong.
Some of the Jerseys will be given to Pukpuk supporters in the respective countries of the HSBC Sevens Series.
