This according to the statement released by PNG Rugby Union to the passing of late Douglas Guise.
The Late Douglas Guise represented Papua New Guinea with distinction as a member of the Pukpuks 7aside & 15aside teams and later as a Coach of the Pukpuk 7aside Team – a role he took on despite is age and had little or no support at all.
The Late Douglas Guise lived an incredible life both on and off the field.
His achievements as a Player and Coach has set a bench mark for PNG Rugby and his legacy will live on in the lives of those he had touched.
