Enga Governor Peter Ipatas today called on politicians not to interfere withthe appointment of public servants and subsequentlytheir work.
He said if politicians were serious in developingthe country,they should leavethe public service alone.
He was speaking during Grievance Debate in parliament today.
He urged politicians not to appointtheir cronies tothe public service and departmental head roles, but to appoint employees on merit.
He saysthe public service should be independent and should not be seen changing every five years with politics.
