TheInstitute of Business Studies anPNG Computer Society hostedthe nation’s first everInformation Technology and Electronics exhibition today, attheInstitutes Saraga campus in 6 mile, Port Moresby.
The exhibition is way for students’ofthe institute to showcasetheir work.
It was well attended, significantly by high school students’from various schools aroundthe capital.
Lecturer atthe School of Computing, Mr. Rachakonda Belaraju, expressedthe hopes he has for the exhibitions impact onthe students’present.
“Most ofthe time students’are giventheoretical knowledge. They should go beyondtheir learning boundaries and know what’s going on aroundthem, in terms of ITand electronics,” said Belaraju.
On display were advanced electronic and ITexhibits fromthe students’oftheInstitutes, School of Computing.
“PNG is developing a lot nowadays.Inthe coming years, we expect tremendous growth, and that can be possible only withthe development intheInformation Technology,” said Vadali Srinivas, IBe Lecturer.
Open to public,the three day event will conclude this Saturday.
