The Hansard Division staff of the National Parliament have completed a two day workshop, which ended yesterday.
The program was initiated by UNDP with support from New Zealand Parliamentary representatives.
New Zealand Parliament Representative, Luke Harris, acknowledged the program as efficient and shared his experience and knowledge on efficient Hansard practices that would benefit staff in the Hansard Division.
Principal Parliamentary Reporter Lee Sirote, who was also part of the workshop said it was very beneficial for the staff of the National Hansard Division, as it will help enhance their responsible performances.
Acting Deputy Clerk of parliament, Richard Whitchurch, said the program played a very significant role in disseminating important information on Parliament processes, particular in the Hansard Division.
Mr. Whitchurch spoke highly of UNDP and New Zealand Parliamentary representatives who were on hand to make the project a success.
