Prima Gulf Isapeas went down fighting to Agmark Rabaul Gurias overthe weekend.
Isapeas put on a gutsy performance againstthe reigning premieres and looked comfortable for a win buttheir celebration was short lived.

It was an evenly contested challenge;the Isapeas hitting great form andthe Gurias striving to protecttheir champion’s title.
Isapeas led at half time with a never say die performance from Lawrence Tu’u. 22 points to 18 at half time in favour ofthe Ispeas,the boys in black had one thing ontheir mind – Victory!
Gurias not to be let down came back with a confident boosting try from Francis Paniu. Fromthen onthe Gurias claimed every ball possession makingthe most of it.
Isapeas trlied in vain tobreakurias defence but to no avail Gurias workedtheir magic through skipper Ase Beas to cap with a try.
Gurias trashed Isapeas with 28 points to 26.
