Gei Raga – New Central Administrator

The National Executive Council has been called to appoint long serving public servants intheir respective provinces to be administrators.

This concern was raised duringthe hand over takeover ofthe Central Provincial Administrator at its headquarters in Konedobu yesterday.

Duringthe short ceremony, Goilala MP Daniel Mona saidthe current system atthe headquarters was ineffective and needed a major overhaul.

And for this to happen, he said people who have been working inthe provincial administration system for years should be appointed tothe administrator’s role.

Gei Raga servedthe provincial administration as deputy administrator since 2003 and has been appointedthe new administrator by NEC replacing acting administrator Manaseh Rapilla.

Central Governor Kila Haoda in welcoming Mr Raga to his administration called on public servants inthe province to accordtheir support by doingtheir jobs.

Administrator appointed Mr Raga pledged his total support tothe governor to fulfil his visions to transform Central province.
