Frank Genia will be knocking on school doors come this season.He will be on a pathfinder mission looking out for youngsters who have dreams to become Union stars.
He is not new in the union arena.
He hails from Lalaura village, Aroma Coast in the Central province.
He is the senior of the Genia brothers, well known on the Union field.
The Pacific in Union program was basically designed to help school- aged kids to develop their skills and passion as they are growing up.
Last year Super 15s finalist, the ACT Brumbies, raised their hands to support the PiU program, rolling out to other centers of the country.
Frank will be working closely with the PNGFRU as they spread their wings, ready to take the program to greater heights.
A man known to rugby union fans and players has dubbed this year to be a busy year as they prepare a team for the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
In the meantime, the Capital Rugby Union 7s tournament rejuvenated the Bava Park as the countdown continues for PNGRFU sanctioned international tours.
