Foetus Found Discarded Under City Bridge

The body of a discarded foetus was found this morning at the Erima Bridge in Port Moresby.

According to residents in the area, the body was in a bag when it was discovered by children who were playing in the area.

Residents said the children were playing when they saw a man dump a bag under the bridge, the children, curious, went to retrieve the bag after the man had left.

It was then that they discovered the body of an undeveloped baby boy that was still covered in blood as it lay in the bag.

The body was later removed by the Criminal Investigation Division, who are investigating.

The NCD Metropolitan Superintendent is yet to give an official comment on this matter.
