PNG Men’s National Football Team Head Coach, Flemming Serritslev, has dropped a bombshell by stating that he will not consider young forward, David Browne, as a member of the squad during his tenure.
These statements were made, yesterday in an interview with EMTV Sports, and follows on from the refusal by Browne to join the National Teams campaign during the OFC Nation’s Cup, in May.
The 20 year old, who is the son of famous Cartoonist Bob Browne, currently attached with FC Gronigen, in Holland, still hopes to take part in the next OFC.
Despite popular demand in the country for him to take part with the PNG side during this year’s OFC, the star player insisted he will only be available in four years’ time.
PNG Men’s Coach, Flemming Serritslev, said the young footballer will not be considered to join the PNG side for the next OFC Nations Cup.
Meanwhile, the National team is in Port Moresby on a week long camp, as Serritslev expands his base of talent, with a handful of new faces in the squad.
The team is preparing months in advance, for their stage three qualifiers for Russia 2018.
