In a country with only one major record label, where technology is evolving as we speak; makes it all the more difficult for the likes of CHM to make money in Papua New Guineas music industry where streaming is the way music is being heard these days.
The demand is on PNGs music industry for more new music, therefore music will continue to be created, maybe at the cost of creativity due to the long-term sustainability of financial support which will die in the face of streaming, unpaid “sharing” of purchased content, and the underlying erosion of unit margin.
