Many of the high-level discussions looked towards initiatives that aim to empower people in the region to tap into the digital age, focusing on the opportunities the digital transformation has to improve job creation, education and an overall quality of life.
Following SOM 2, Ministers responsible for Trade from around the region held a dialogue on trade liberalisation between economies, ushering the digital future of trade in the region and the specific challenges brought upon by harnessing technology to trade.
