After a rather eventful past couple of weeks, which culminated in the resignation of the country’s former Prime Minister Peter O’Neill and the appointment of new Prime Minister James Marape, the proverbial question being asked is, “What now?”
Addressing parliament in his first speech as prime minister, Prime Minister Marape outlined his aspirations for the country moving forward.
He alluded to the new coalition governments plans to empower Papua New Guinean businesses and honing in on maximising gains from the country’s natural resources.
