Buk Bilong Pikinini has bestowed the honour of Ambassador to Mrs Babao O’Neill in recognition of her continued support towards Buk Bilong Pikinini.
According to BBP Executive Officer, Luke Ebbs, the support from Mrs O’Neill has been invaluable.
Mrs O’Neill has commended Buk Bilong Pikinini for its work, especially for the roll-out of Buk Bilong Pikinini Libraries throughout the country.
This, she says is important in educating the children from a very young age.
Parents of children who have gone through BBP programs were also present today, and thanked BBP for providing the opportunity for their children to learn how to read.
In her new role, Mrs O’Neill has assured Buk Bilong Pikinini of her support in delivering the best education for children at an early age.
