Police Commissioner, Tom Kulunga, says he will sack any undisciplined police officers.
He also warned against the abuse of civilians.
Speaking at a Pass out Parade at Bomana Police College this morning, Kulunga reminded all uniformed officers to respect the rights of everyone.
A total of 247 men and women passed out of Bomana Police College today.
This is the first batch of the 2013 intake and will now be deployed into the operational policing areas.
The Police Commissioner, after reviewing the parade, said the constabulary is making progress in meeting government targets, under the Medium Term Development plan of 2011-2015.
That is to have 8 000 regular members by 2015 and beyond however, the Police Force is faced with many challenges.
One of the concerns is the frequent cases of ill-discipline and power abuse.
He warned that those caught will be terminated including probationary constables.
Reservists will only be maintained by the constabulary though a Memorandum of Agreement.
Commissioner Kulunga encouraged all police men and women to serve with dignity to uplift discipline in the force.
