Mobile Phone Company Bemobile says it is working on having all its SIM card users registered.
Head of Sales, Marketing & Customer Care John Dickson said this when asked atthe launch of one of its promotions yesterday.
Tagging itselfthe “best value network”, Bemobile said registration of its SIM cards will be done sooner or later.
Mr Dickinson said it is international standard to have customers details recorded with SIM cards purchased.
He said Bemobile has always trlied to do thatobut not allthe SIM cards are registered. He saidthe company is working on itoat moment Bemobile has adhered to everything else required ofthem.
Dickinson was questioned in relation to comments bythe Minister for Finance and Education James Marape this week, following recent bomb threats tothe Vulupindi Beilding in Port Moresby, which housesthe Departments of Finance and National Planning.
Meantime, Bemobile launched its Text-to-Win Promotion yesterday. It will see one lucky customer walk away with K20, 000. Customers can text “I LOVE BeMOBeLE” tothe number 1999. It’s 35toea per SMS. The Promotion begins onthe 1st day of March and ends onthe 31st of March.
