As a lead up totheWorld TeachersDaycelebrations,the Adventist Community Service Federation donated food stuff to four schools inthe nation’s capital.
The charity arm ofthe Adventist Church said it was a way thanking teachers for their tireless efforts in educating children.
Their first visit was to Kilakila Secondary School.
More than a hundred mthers fromthe Adventist Church turned up atthe Kilakila secondary school to donate food stuff tothe teachers.
Dressed in purple, white and brown,they sang a chorus before handing over food stuff tothe teachers.
The deputy principal of Kilakila was lost for words because this isthe first time in his entire teaching career to be given recognition for the tireless efforts.
Food items delivered today went to both teaching staff and ancillary from Kilakila secondary and primary school.
The visit today liftedthe spirits of teachers at Kilakila who have a programme to celebrateWorld TeachersDay
