Tough Competition in Three Peaks Racing Event

The Port Moresby Yacht Club was a buzz yesterday with competitors lining up to compete in the Three Peaks Challenge.

The race began from just outside the Royal Papua Yacht Club, where yachts lined up and raced to the first location of Manubada Island, where the runners swam to shore then raced to the top of the hill, back down and to their yachts before racing to the next destination of was Lolorua Island.

The final leg of the race was back to the Yacht Club, where runners had to face the toughest leg of the competition, to the top of Burns Peak and back to complete the race.

The race saw competitors push their bodies to the limit as they braved the blazing Port Moresby sun and strong winds to complete the three peaks racing event.

Windsong came out on top, clocking in at 2 hours, 50 minutes and 42 seconds, followed by DHL and Windrose in third placing.
