Also at the meet will be other entrepreneurs, investors, educators and business representatives, including U.S. President, Barack Obama, who will be one of the many speakers.

U.S. Special Representative for Commercial and Business Affairs, Ziad Haider, said “One of the principal goals of GES is to increase the opportunities available to promising entrepreneurs from around the world through access to capital and mentorship.

“By welcoming an unprecedented number of investors to this year’s GES, we are able to achieve this goal and showcase the talent, solutions, and opportunity that exist around the world directly to investors.”

U.S. President, Barack Obama, says that in bringing the summit back to U.S. he hopes to build more connections to tackle global challenges together.

This is the 7th GES since 2010, and will be the second time U.S. hosts it.

“Hosting GES in Silicon Valley will highlight America’s entrepreneurial spirit and allow American investors and entrepreneurs to see the talent, solutions, and opportunities that exist globally.”
