Power supply into Walium station in Madang remains disrupted following the fall of power lines alone the Ramu -Madang highway.
A number of power lines were uprooted after heavy rains and floods in the area.
Residents at Walium have been using standby generators since March 10.
PNG Power officers on the ground said the damage is enormous and it will take three to four weeks before electricity can be restored.
