Minimising Migraines with Cefaly

By Samantha Semoso – EMTV Online

The pursuit of health and wellbeing is an ongoing goal for most of us. Given our busy lifestyles and numerous demands from both personal and professional obligations, it’s not always easy to stay on track in this pursuit. Innovative developers recognise this fact and have begun creating gadgets and gizmos that are easy to plug into our always-on, mobile lives.

Cefaly is an FDA (Food and Drug Administration) approved medical device for use in helping to reduce migraine occurrences. Cefaly has been approved for use in adults 18 years of age and older.

Cefaly is the perfect solution for more than half of migraine sufferers worldwide. It enables the use of medicines to be significantly reduced and the sufferer’s quality of life to be markedly improved.  Several published clinical studies have demonstrated its effectiveness and its complete safety. Cefaly has been approved by the FDA for use under prescription.

Cefaly is positioned on the forehead using adhesive electrode. Precise impulses are produced, which act on the trigeminal nerve in order to prevent migraine attacks. Results have shown that 71 per cent of patients are satisfied with the results, and have reduced their use of medication by 75 per cent.
