by Marie Kauna – EMTV Online, Port Moresby

While information technology advances each day from one level to another, further research and study continues for IT systems, thus introducing more changes and innovations from time to time.

Japanese multinational conglomerate Hitachi has recently unveiled its latest IT development, the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology, a new AI boss believed to be the world’s first artificial intelligence manager.

The technology involves the integration of the concept ‘Kaizen’, a business philosophy common in Japan which encourages workers and managers to improve their personal efficiency.

With accumulated data collected daily and integrated into the AI business systems, it will become possible to incorporate the on-site kaizen activities of the workers and employees to see efficient operations of the business.

The integrating of these will work towards achieving greater workplace efficiency.

The initiative and development is believed to be the first of its kind throughout the world, and is now in its monitoring phase to test for its effectiveness and use.
