Style Stret Clothing Shop Opens in Port Moresby

The National Development Bank Investmen’s today opened its second clothing store under the Stret Pasin Retail Business Program. 

This is the second under the Style Stret brand, and the third under the Stret Pasin Store Scheme. 

An additional seven new shops will be opened by the end of this year. 

More than 1oo Papua New Guinea’s will directly benefit from the reintroduction of the program. 

Style Stret sells new and used clothing, toys and homewares which aim to cater for growing consumer demands.

A total of 10 couples will benefit from the reintroduction of the Stret Pasin Store Scheme, which is expected to create 100 additional employment opportunities for the people of PNG. 

For every Style Stret shop, the bank, through its subsidiary NDB Investmen’s, will lease a shop, purchase stock, and then set up and bring in couples who will eventually become store owners. 

The program expects to generate K2 million in sales each year, with a total proft of K200,000 annually.
