Mt Diamond Adventist goes Hi-Tech to prevent Cheating in Exams

Mt Diamond Adventist Secondary in Port Moresby has gone high tech in a mover to prevent cheating during exams.

The school launched its ICT Online examination project last week.

The online examination project is first of its kind in PNG

Its objective is to introduce an efficient and relevant technology to assist teachers’ assessment and reduce examination discrepancies like cheating.

The project was funded through Adventist Development & Relief Agency through Church Private Partnership.

Education Secretary Dr Michael Tapo said such innovation is a milestone achievement forPNG

Dr Tapo added thatthe Department of Education will support this initiative and save millions of kina in buying, printing and freighting exam papers.

Two end of term exams were successfully done by year 12 physics and geography students’to kick ofthe project.
