Vipers Optimistic For A Win

Port Moresby Stop and Shop Vipers’ skipper Larsen Marabe is confident of taking Vipers intothe Digicel grand final match against Goroka Lahanis this weekend.

Bettheir comeback after 19 years will not be an easy win againstthe minor premiers and former champs, Goroka Lahanis.

 

Vipers’ skipper Larsen Marabe notedthe mammoth task ahead; however, was calmed bythe factthey will go in as underdogs. 

 

Marabe said he will be relying heavily on his players to coordinate on-field discipline.

 

Hooker Charlie Wabo and inside Centre Richard Kambo, who were injured duringthe preliminary final, is onthe skipper’s top list.

 

Meanwhile, Goroka Bengtangor Lahanis arrived in Port Moresby this afternoon just in time to meetthPNGNRL board, Vipers, NCD Governor Powes Parkop andthe media.

 

Lahanis captain Nicko Ubile assuredthe team is in full force and ready to take Vipers. He saidthe team carriesthe pride of Eastern Highlands and will like to see it to bloom. 

 

Fans and supporters already tippingthe winner, no doubt Lloyd Robson Oval will be expecting a huge turnout this weekend to wind downthe Digicel Cup 2013 season.
