He told parents and guardians duringthe meet and greet session atthe new school location at Waigani Heights in Port Moresby.
A portion of land up onthe foothills of Waigani Heights belongs to Waigani Christian Primary School.In fact about 11 hectares ofthe land mass will be used to build more classrooms for the ever- creasing number of students’ There are about 800 plus students’attendingthe Christian Primary School inthe nation’s capital.
Today,the parents and guardians visitedthe new site to meet and greetthe teachers and vice –versa. Founder and Director Benjamin Mul says it was his dream 20 years ago to start a school where children can be disciple and reared with Christian values. Twenty – years on, Waigani Christian Primary has expanded with Divine intervention.
The land will be used to build ten more classroomsPNG Sustainable Development Program has stepped on to build one classroom; while NCD Governor Powes Parkop has committed K300, 000 to build anther one. About K800, 000 is needed to build about anther ten more to doublethe number of classrooms by 2014.
