Revived Country WomensAssociation onthe Mover

Revived after a decade of inactivity,the Country Womenrsquo;s Association has moverd to make its existence felt.

That mover was to a community inthe National Capital to give food items to widows.

About twenty elderly widows gthered atthe Kirakira United Church inthe Port Moresby South Electorate ofthe National Capital District.

The women waitedthere to receive food items from representatives ofthe Country WomenAssociation.

Vice PresidentoMartha Kaia also a widow and a single mther said this is a new concept to network widows. And that this isthe first outreach for the CWA which will get bigger and better.

The Association will make similar food donations to widows in ther parts ofthe City; East Beroko, Morata and Vadavada.

The group is appealing to businesses to partner withthem in futheringtheir mission to servethe neglected and vulnerable.

The Country Womenrsquo;s Association was revived this year after being inactive for almost eight years.
