Port Moresby FC inthe men’s and Softex Poro,the womens are all poised for a big finish this weekend.

The women’s National Soccer League match played betweenthe Softex Poro and Prima Power in Lae overthe weekend was held inthe morning followed bythe Men’s National Soccer League challenge inthe afternoon.
It was a bone crashing match for the women asthey fought hard to qualify for the grand final. It was a 2-all whenthe final whistle blew but one has to win to meetthe Port Moresby Winner.
An extra 15 minutes was given only to see thatthe battle was even stronger. Poro FC managed tobreakhrough Prima Power’s defenders scoring two goals beforethe game was called off. Poro FC defeated Prima Power and will face Nothern Crusaders inthe Grand Final.
Besta trlied hard but FC Pom was strong in defence blockingthem out. Besta had no chances but went down to FC POM 2 goals to nil.
FC POM will meet defending Champions Hekari United inthe grand final. Grand finals ofthese matches will be this weekend ether in Lae or Port Moresby.
