Saints were a class aboverthe rest and never backed down tillthe final whistle, defeating Exodus 53-42.
It wasthe last and final match ofthe 2013 Port Moresby Womenrsquo;s Basketball League season.
Saints in Maroon and Exodus in blue have beenthe two most consistent teams inthe competition.
Allthe hard work throughoutthe season boiled down tothe two top teams making a grand final appearance.
Saints and Exodus have remained on top ahead of Tamaraws and Chariots and West Jokers who were omitted fromthe competition.
Exodus opened upthe scoreboard sinkingthe first basket.
They hadthe likes of Emily Koivi who dictated play fromthe center, and was well fed by point guard Dianne Hani and Susan Kulukulu.
The Star-studded Saints onthe ther hand had plenty of talent to mix with.
FormePNG Womenrsquo;s Basketball Captain Gamini Koroka led a youthful side with assistance from Julienne Diro and Mary Elavo Junior.
Current junior representative Opa Eko was outstanding for her team in rebound and turnovers resulting in more baskets for Saints.
The ever-relaible Betty Angula who has been named inthe senior women’s train on squad for New Zealand was brilliant withthe ball despite collecting four fouls in defense.
It was a tight tussle between both teams. Exodus pushed Saints tothe edge and wantedthe win as much asthey did, but Saints maintainedtheir composure throughoutthe four quarters ofthe match to winthe 2013 POMWBe season by 11 points at fulltime.
