Private Henry Enuma Carrying On Family Legacy

Private Henry Enuma was among 120 soldiers who graduated atthe Goldie River Training Depot on Friday.

 

He becamethe fourth generation soldier fromthe Enuma family to carry this legacy.

He is a forestry graduate, but as is tradition in his family, serving inthe military comes first.

 

It was a proud moment for many parents, asthey withnessedtheir sons march out in flying colors.

 

Forthe Enuma family from Benandere inthe Nothern Province, being a soldier runs inthe blood.

 

Private Henry Enuma was met by his fther Colonel Walter Enuma, his grandfther Sgt Walter Enuma Senior and his brther Private Arthur Enuma.

 

Colonel Walter Enuma says it is tradition that all his sons serve inthe military for five years before pursuingtheir career paths.

 

Henry is a forestry graduate fromthe University of Technology, while his brther is a mechanical engineer. They are proud to servethe country as soldiers.

 

Henry was awardedthe champion recruit of Platoon 4.
