Oro Governor Garry Juffa is taking a partnership approach to address natural disaster issues in his province.
A memorandum of understanding was signed yesterday between Governor Juffa andthe Red Cross Society oPNG…for the latter to provide relief supplies to flood victims in Oro Province.
Red Cross will manage 500 thousand kina fromthe five million kina promised bythe Prime Minister Peter O’Neill for the flood victims.
The Oro provincial Government will usethe rest to restore roads, bridges and ther infrastructure damaged bythe floods.
