Barramundi, Faces First Loss

The HeboPNG Barramundi’s remain on top ofthe point’s ladder despite going down to East-Asia Pacific inthe last round robin match ofthe tournament played in Beisbane overthe weekend.

 

Barras disciplined bowling closed offthe game to restrictthe Combined Armed Forces to 7 for 115 aftertheir allotted 20 overs.

 

The match did not go down well with EAP side as Barras slumped to a disappointing 24 run loss. ThrePNG recruits for EAP Lega Siaka, Riley Hekure and Charles Amini Junior all chipped in with 39 runs.

 

Barras struggled to string togther solid partnership but were bowled out at 96.

However, Barras maintainedthe top spot followed by EAP, AustralianIndigenous and Combined Armed Forces. 

 

 Final will see Barras take on EAP, with AustraliaIndigenous playing Armed Forces inthe third & fourth playoff.
