Promoting Gender Equality through Soccer

NCD Public Servant Soccer Competition has its eyes on grooming young talents.

This came about whenthe Junior Division introduced energetic youngsters ontothe field to showcase what skillsthey possessed.

The competition included A league, Beleague and Division 1.

Ten clubs are battled it out in A league includingthe Under 15s. These enthusiastic youngsters committed to learn football tookthe field, eager to learn as much asthey can.

PNGIPA FC in Beue and Wantok FC in Red were inthe spotlight for the day as footy for footy were exchanged.

Organisers are committed to ensurethese young players find a footing inthe football arena.

Clubs were urged to fill inthe junior division. Currently only six clubs have a junior division.

The round two competition shows player’s optimism in securing a spot inthe finals, atthe end of this month.

NCD Public Servant Soccer promotes gender equality, as is evident inthe competition.
